Touchpad works, but the cursor is slow and touchpad scrolling does not work

Touchpad works, but the cursor is slow and touchpad scrolling does not work. and also autorotate does not work, I hope these problems can be solved.
I couldn’t find the relevant settings for touchpad cursor speed and scrolling.
I am using a Lenovo thinkpad 2 in 1, Fyde v21

if touchpad scroling does not work there is way to help you could clean the touchpad and restart the device you should have mouse you could powerwash also there is advanced solution require dev mode * Enable libinput via browser flags:

  1. Open the Chromium browser.
  2. Type chrome://flags in the address bar and press Enter.
  3. Search for “touchpad” or “libinput” in the flags search bar.
  4. Look for an option like “enable libinput to handle touchpad” and Enable it.
  5. Restart the browser and then your computer.
  • Modify configuration files (for advanced users):
    1. Enable Developer Mode and disable root filesystem verification as per the FydeOS documentation.
    2. Open the terminal by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T.
    3. Type shell and hit Enter, then type sudo -i and hit Enter to get root permissions.
    4. Navigate to the gesture configuration directory: cd /etc/gesture.
    5. Follow specific instructions from the FydeOS community forums to modify the 40-touchpad-cmt.conf file, as the required changes can be specific to your hardware model.

Check BIOS Settings

On some laptops (e.g., Acer models), the touchpad setting in the BIOS might be set to “Advanced” by default, which can cause issues with non-Windows operating systems.

  • Reboot your laptop and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F2, Del, or an equivalent key).
  • Navigate to the main or pointing device settings and change the touchpad from Advanced to Basic (or PS/2).
  • Save and exit the BIOS, then reboot your device.

I found a fix you have to downgrade to version 17 or 18 of fydeos and the scrolling works again but you will have no play store or Gapps but still Linux bc I have the same problem on my lenovo Thinkpad t490 or switch to chrome os flex

On HP Elitebook 840 G3 I have the same issue. And enabling the flag “Enable libinput” does not work either. Any fixes? And could the devs fix it??

found one track pad work and scrolling too just get brunch framework its a bit hard to setup but after that you get all chrome os features like phone hub

So the variant I tried where trackpad drivers failed was the Intel Modern. Now I tried the Slim and everything works. Flawlessly
