Google Play Service failed after update

This morning, FydeOS popup saying an update is available. After update, all Android apps failed due to Google Play Service failure. I could not get Google Play service back up. I reinstalled opengapp and all android apps disappeared.

What is should be the procedure to correct this for future updates.

Open GApps is an experimental feature, for the foreseeable future, this phenomenon will persist.

However, based on our testing, previously installed Android apps should still be there…
