FydeOS account sign-up does not send phone verification code

FydeOS account sign-up does not send phone verification code to ANY phone we have in the house. We tried one of the SMS free websites to get a code that way - did not work either. The device is connected to WiFi.

Visit https://fydeos.com/tbot on your mobile with telegram installed and it will send you a code.
