Google Assistant does not work on FydeOS since it’s Google’s propriety. If you need Google Assistant, use Chrome OS Flex.

I try download google apk and google assistant apk but when i started google assistant , the app shows an error. Then i quit. In my opinion dont work on FydeOs

can I use fydeos and chrome OS flex on the same laptop at the same time?
or can i use google assistant in the linix sub syestem

FydeOS support dual-boot. FydeOS does not include Google Assistant.

The question is why FydeOS devs didn’t remove the Assistant option in their settings? It’s not making sense for a fork of Chromium OS.

Actually, there is no Google Assistant option in the Settings.

I still see it in the settings on FydeOS V18.

After enable some assistants settings, the client suddenly crash the shell.

Sorry, we only dealt with English and Chinese. If you are using other languages, the filter we added won’t work. On vanilla Chromium OS, Google kept this part of Settings.
