I am running FydeOS on a Surface Pro 5. The system is amazing, and I use some Linux app too and they also work flawlessly. I don’t use and don’t intend to use any Android app whatsoever though, and I was wondering whether I can remove Android subsystem completely as I only have 4 gb of RAM. Is it possible?
If you reinstall FydeOS on your surface and NOT activate Android subsystem when prompted, you won’t have Android then.
Unfortunately once you activated Android it can’t be undone
