Detailed description

  1. Clearly state your question(s)
    A: I’ve installed Fyde OS recently and I’ve been able to enable Android Subsystem but when I try to activate Linux, it says that I must Update the system first. I’m on Fyde OS 16.1

  2. Provide specific configuration and firmware version details
    CPU: Intell Core i5-5200U
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 920M
    RAM & Storage: 8Gb / 64Gb
    FydeOS Version: 16.1

  3. Include detailed logs
    To obtain the logs, enter /var/log/messages in the Chromium browser and locate the relevant log fragment. Copy and paste it here.

I don’t have logs yet

Try to run sudo stateful_update_wrapper.sh recover, wait for the command to complete and reboot the device, then try to activate Linux subsystem again.
