Try ChromiumOS 96 on your Linux without Desktop Environment

ChromiumOS UI for Linux without DE so… you can try this on any debian armbian ubuntu cli kde etc…

For my experiment I used Radxa Rock 5B on this image

Add Secure Shell and Crosh terminal plugin to it and you’re sorted.

How Ozone was compiled:
If you want to build it for your own you have to build it on a i386 (x86_64) machine, the build system only supports this arch, it will download cross compilers:

How to Compile Ozone-GBM for Linux

This has to be done on an x86 system otherwise no therefore no .src folder will be created and game over.

  • Run from console DRM and GBM buffers (build for platform DRM)

From here on I have no clue the right process to follow :confused:

But I assume we need to compile the output files into .tar.gz
To then extract them on the system and boot it.
There is obviously the matters of google users api’s which is another process but for this for now I will keep it ‘guest user’.

#now files to a .tar.gz to be extracted in system and run with:
