Touchscreen Issues - Surface Pro 7

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

• Description:
  I have a MS Surface Pro 7. I downloaded the image for the Surface Pro 7 from the Fydeos site.

I installed the OS to the ssd. Everything seems to be working fine. Except the touchscreen only works intermittently. Touch will only register about 30-40% of the time. It’s really frustrating.

Touchscreen works in Windows and on Ubuntu (with surface kernel) without a problem.

Any thoughts on what I should do? Thanks

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-1035G4
  • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card): Intel Integrated

  • FydeOS Version: FydeOS v17.0 (Surface Pro 7 release version) Platform 15437.44.17.4 (64-bit)

Hi…

I’ve been using the surface as is… And I’ve noticed that if I use my thumb, it works most of the time.

I don’t know if that means that the issue is with registering smaller touches (like the tip of my index finger).

I don’t see any option where you can adjust or calibrate the touchscreen in the OS or the bios.

BTW, the touchscreen works perfectly in the BIOS as well.
