Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description: I’ve tried both FydeOS for PC with legacy & newer version on my chromebook as my devices reaches end of life long ago. I did have success booting the legacy version but I do not have access to my keyboard (might have more devices unrecognized), while the newer version stuck on the fydeOS logo and the screen dimmed twice and finally a black screen do greet me.

I’ll try out the AMD variant (although my devices wasn’t AMD-based) to confirm that all image does not provide me with a good experience.

I believe my device is well supported on Ubuntu Desktop as it behave like a…
“Totally usable computer even with touchscreen working”

AMD variant, doesn’t even get pass “Booting Image A” text.

Update on the latest (v18) FydeOS installation.

I do got myself into the first-boot screen but any interaction with it are disabled.
Non of the component are usable and I was forced to restart after approximately a 30 minutes white screen.
