Touchscreen Not Working On Laptop

— Everything Works Fine only the touchscreen is not working … Never had any problem with touch screen on Windows, Linux Distros, androidx86, Even Chrome OS flex, prime OS … I just wanted chrome OS (Not Flex) + Android Playstore + Linux Distro = Fyde OS (Kudos to Devs). Can i do anything to make the touchscreen work ?

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor: Intel Celeron Processor N2840
    • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card):Intel® HD Graphics
      7th Gen
    • RAM: 4GB
    • FydeOS Version: 17.1

I know this is an older thread but I just found a solution for my touchscreen not working.

Before install, if I flash my external drive using Etcher, my touchscreen doesn’t work. But if I use Rufus instead, I do get touchscreen functionality.

I’ve tried it twice with each tool and gotten the same results. I couldn’t tell you why it makes a difference but it does.
