CPU not running at full speed

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description: My laptop has some problem with the cpu and does not utilize its full speed by default, even if it’s under a heavy load - it runs at 0.8GHz even though it could be 3.1GHz. I was able to fix this issue on windows, by following this tutorial: https://www.wintips.org/fix-cpu-not-running-at-full-speed-in-windows-10/ and disabling the intelppm driver. However, I have no idea how to fix it on fydeos and I haven’t found any relevant tutorials.

    • Laptop model: MSI GE70 2OE
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-4200m
    • Graphics Card: Nvida GeForce GTX 765m
    • RAM: 16GB
    • FydeOS Version: 17.1
