FydeOS 18.0 SP1 fail to boot for install

  • [ yes ] similar issues found with older version and different HW

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:
    With amd64-feados when booting from USB device : black screen (no logo is displayed) and the Laptop reboot.automatically.
    With amd64–feados-iris when booting from USB device : the Logo FydeOS is displayed and the Laptop Hang on this step.

Different USB devised are used (same behaves)

:computer:System & Device Information

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor:Intel [email protected] 4th Gen
    • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card): 2 cards
      1- Sun XT Redeon HD 8670A/8670M/8690M / R5 M330 / M430 / Radeon 520 Mobile
      2- 4th gen Core Processor Integrated Grphic Controller (Intel)
    • RAM: 16G
    • FydeOS Version: R120.15662.B

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.
    • Log Details: N/A

Use the first image and try to disable the discrete graphics card.
