Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:

Whenever I enter on my VMware Player Version to run FydeOS, I have this warning message: (Writing it down to help others searching for it:

" The monitor isn’t getting along with your FydeOS device (the monitor is not supported) "

Can I work this around?

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor: Intel(R) Coreâ„¢ m3-8100Y CPU @ 1.10 GHZ, 1608 MHZ, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
    • Graphics Card: Intel UHD Graphics 615
    • RAM: 8 GB
    • FydeOS Version: v17.0

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.
    • Log Details:
      (Log was absurdly long, and my FydeOS simply can’t handle me copying it without crashing. I needed to print a pdf…)
