  • Description: black screen when installing fyde os. do you already have support for 14th gen (meteor lake cpus)?

:computer:System & Device Information

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor: Ultra 7 155H
    • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card): intel ARC iGPU
    • RAM: 32GB
    • FydeOS Version: I’ve tried both 18 and 19

  • Relevant System Logs:

I’m having the same issue with the Core Ultra 7 155H processor. It’s listed under the web page https://fydeos.io/help/knowledge-base/installation-guides/fydeos-for-pc/fydeos-for-pc-variant/ as being compatible with Intel Modern variant, but I’ve had no luck booting it. I verified the USB boot drive by using it with another laptop with an older CPU. Since it’s listed as a compatible processor, could someone please provide the brand and model of the tested laptop? Then we may be able to identify other factors, such as brand, BIOS, graphics card, etc.

My laptop specs:
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 155H
Memory: 16 GB DDR5
Graphics: Intel Arc
SDD: WD PC SN740 SDDPNQD-1T00-1127 (NVMe PCI-E) 1 TB
Model: Huawei Matebook 14 (2024)

I have the same problem with Dell XPS 13 9340. Black screen after boot. I use modern iso.
