Question Description
Im right now writing from the OS booted from the USB. I cant install it to my hard drive. The final error in the log says
devloop9 error deleting partition 12
Update: I tried installing FydeOs 18.1 and got this error which is, I think the same.
Before you say, UEFI is turned on and bitlocker is disabled.

Are you installing to the hard drive of the surface itself or other hard drive? I use a go2 and it works fine.
I’m trying to do a Multiboot install. I don’t want to wipe windows yet.
I might delete the Partition and install in the full hard drive. But that would mean risking the tablet and making it unusable. I would then need to reinstall Windows somehow and lose the license.
Do you think that might help?

Don’t worry about losing the license of windows. You can download the recovery image from surface’s website.
I removed the partition and took the leap of faith and did a full wipe and installed it.
It works perfectly! Currently using version 18.1 on a Surface Go and installed some android apks.
Is running smoothly! Thanks.
Just one question, would u recommend to update to FydeOS 19?
