Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:
    When trying to boot installation media, it gets stuckon FydeOS logo

:computer:System & Device Information

Sony Vaio E Series
Intel Core i5-3210M
AMD Radeon HD 7550M
Ä°nternal screen removed
Monitor connected via VGA port not HDMÄ°
SSD has Linux Mint and Windows 10
I would like to install Fyde os on my USB drive

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.

Disable discrete graphics card and use the intel version.

My BIOS does not support that unfortunately
I don’t have such toggle

Any other solutions please?

uninstall the discrete graphics chips on your motherboard
u can ask someone for help
i know thats not good but it’s the last way

Man I opened device manager and cpu-z on my windows 10 installation and intel graphics are not shown which means that they are factory disabled, am I right , so I need then to operate the computer with a display (monitor or built in)
