  • Description: Hi Everyone, new to Fyde OS, I decided to install FydeOS 19 on my Huawei Matebook E 2022 in dual boot, I began noticing something strange at the installation stage with the screen splitting in half with one half roughly 1mm higher than the other side and mouse control almost impossible. Using the Keyboard I was able to navigate through the installation menu’s and installed FydeOS hoping that once the OS was installed the graphical issue’s would stop, however this wasn’t the case. The screen on the tablet itself is almost unusable however what is interesting is that if I connect an external monitor there are no issue’s on the external monitor and everything runs fast and smooth (on external monitor only).
Any idea’s on how this issue can be resolved would be highly appreciated.

It’s common in Linux with this device. No solution.

Thank you for coming back. It’s a shame, would have been great.

So I have done a thorough research on the matter it seems it’s an Intel driver issue. Supposedly it can be resolved on Linux Distro’s through altering some command lines. But I’m wondering if the same method would be applicable to Fyde?

Not that simple. You need to replace the whole Linux kernel.
