Gapps installed, can't sign in

  • Description:
I’m using the latest ova image (19) for VMWare
The installation of Gapps goes without a problem but when I restart the computer “Preparing for setup” is stuck and when I start the Goggle Play app it tries to connect but fails, so I can’t log in.
I’ve tried manually installing Gapps as well, same results.
Tried to update - framework, play store services and play store app from apkmirror, it updates but doesn’t solve the problem.
I’ve seen that the problem might be because of unregistered device but Play Protect works just fine. On the other hand, when I tried to see GSF number with Device ID app, it shows “not found”. Wonder if this could be a problem and how to fix it.

When I test networking in “Diagnostics” I get this

Name: Ethernet
Type: Ethernet
State: Online
Active: True

Authentication: None

IP Address: 192.168.154.131

It’s the issue of v19. Use v18 VMware version.

I would if I could. There are no previous versions on fydeos.io and no repositories for previous versions that I know about. Maybe someone from support will share the link?

Thank you!
I can confirm that v18 works fine.
Hopefully they’ll release working version 19 as well
