Honestly this is amazing! X1 Carbon Gen 5. You could even get a Yoga from 2017 as well. These sell for about 200ish on Ebay.
9 hour battery life. Android apps. Flawless. Epic.

I have FydeOS installed on USB and using it on my Lenovo X1 Yoga G 6. On windows I am getting about 3.5 hours the battery but with FydeOS I got about 1 hour using the USB. Any tips to up that to your 9 hour battery life?

Are you using the iris installer? How are you putting the system to sleep? What are your brightness settings?
Hi, yes I used the Iris installer for Modern Intel and am running it off USB stick. This was just while using the computer, not putting it to sleep. Screen brightness is up there as I am getting old.
I will have to look at what might need to be updated for the Graphics Card, I am not good with Linux systems. I do remember still know Dos.
Thanks
Yup. It’s definitely your brightness settings. Video playback can be an issue too. It took me a lot of linux kernel tweaking to get linux to work properly as well. You need to adjust your sleep settings too by modifying the sleep mode in your grub config.
