I have a windows desk top with win 11. To ensure I always have a back up on my desk top I use “aomei backupper” to create a clone ssd copy as a back up on a weekly basis - any problems. If I have a problem I just plug in the clone and then I am up and running within minutes!
I also have a Lenovo with an ssd running FydeOS without any issues. I would also like to have a cloned version of the Lenovo ssd and tried using “aomei backupper” on my desktop to clone the ssd from the laptop in a USB drive caddie to another ssd USB in an other USB drive in a caddie. Amoei backupper runs without any errors, but when I compare the ssds the copy has extra volumes/partitions and will not boot in the laptop.
I made sure the copy wasGPT and also tried various system formats exFat, Fat32 etc but with the same result.
Before I look at any other applications can anybody body suggest a way of cloning an ssd with fydeos installed on it via fydeos or win11?
