Okay, this is annoying for me to create a second post about this; however, I would like Fydeos to auto detect tablet / desktop mode based on folding of the device. Is there a way for me to find drivers which would do this for me? Can someone suggest a solution? I really want to use this OS and this is the only factor that is standing on my way. I am using a Lenovo Yoga 11e 4th gen laptop.
Actually it’s not that easy to do it in Linux distros. You may try Ubuntu, if it can auto switch, there maybe a solution. Otherwise no solution in Linux distros.
Huh, there might be one to detect for linux; however, I would like to implement it for Fydeos. Is it possible to use linux backend fully and is there a cli way to switch between desktop and tablet modes?
If you can find the driver, you can add it into the kernel, compile the kernel and replace the kernel in the fydeos for pc. I suggest you to use manual switch in settings. Unless you are an experienced Linux user, you are not able to do it by yourself since no one can guide you step by step.
Not a driver; however some scripts: https://github.com/alesya-h/linux_detect_tablet_mode I want to try this; however, am wondering whether Fydeos is would support this and is there a command that can switch modes so that I can tie it to this.
Why don’t you try it? It won’t do any harm.
Yes; however, as I said do you know the linux command to switch between desktop and mobile mode and disable the physical keyboard and touchpad?
