So I want to try Ubuntu touch on my fydetab duo and I noticed it was very buggy and the screen orientation was wrong and now I want back to fydeos but the I tried to get in the loader it didn’t work. Maybe iam dump as hell and don’t that I have delete the loader. Please help me I will get back to fydeos.
Did you try the maskrom button?
Not because I first want to ask if there was a another way.
But thank you I will try it.
The Linux images on the Fydetab are quite different from the original FydeOS or the open-source OpenFyde. Once you flash the device with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution, you won’t be able to enter the flashing mode again using the volume buttons and the power button. This is mentioned in the installation instructions for other Linux distributions on the Wiki.
The installation guides for other distributions describe that you can use the command sudo dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=10M count=2
to enter the MaskROM mode and then re-flash FydeOS/OpenFyde. However, I’m not sure if this method works on Ubuntu, as I have only tried it on Debian and BredOS.
Ok thank you.
