Hey everyone,
I recently installed FydeOS on my laptop…, and I am really enjoying the smooth experience so far! However…, I want to run some Linux apps for development purposes…, and I have noticed that performance can sometimes be a bit sluggish.
I have already enabled the Linux subsystem and tried tweaking a few settings…, but I was wondering if there are any specific optimizations or configurations that can help improve performance. Some questions I have:
Is there a way to allocate more system resources (CPU/RAM) to Linux on FydeOS: ??
Would an external SSD make a difference for better performance compared to internal storage: ??
Are there any lightweight Linux app alternatives that work better on FydeOS: ??
I would love to hear from anyone who has experience with this !! I have also gone through this resource https://fydeos.io/help/manual/manage-your-apps/add-apps-and-extensions/set-up-linux-on-fydeos-flutter-course but still looking for more tips and advice.
Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance !!
With Regards,
Derek Theler
