FydeOS- Privacy Policy question

Dear customer service!

I would like to ask what the following clauses mean exactly in the Privacy Policy? That is, if someone logs in somewhere with a password, FydeOS will remember it? Among other things, various email accounts, PayPal account passwords, bank passwords? This is a bit strange.

Comprehensive list of the data we collect

-Credentials: encrypted passwords and similar security information used for authentication and account access.
-Payment data: necessary data to process payments, such as your payment method (such as your PayPal account or your preference to pay by bank cards via Stripe), the identification number of the device or account corresponding to the payment item and the security code associated with your payment instrument.
-Subscription and licensing data: information about your subscriptions, licenses, and other entitlements.

  • In our privacy policy, “Credentials” exclusively refers to FydeOS account credentials.

  • “Payment data” encompasses the information you provide when interacting with FydeOS Cashier services. It does not include credentials but rather your payment service identifier and other non-sensitive data that we can obtain from legitimate APIs.

  • “Subscription and licensing data” pertains to your subscription and licensing status.

When utilising the Chromium browser within FydeOS for any purpose, it is not included within the aforementioned scope. FydeOS will not collect or retain your data when you use the browser to interact with services that are unrelated to FydeOS services.

Thank you for your answer.
