Hello and thank you for your interesting project.
I installed the latest version on my MacBook Air 2011, but there are a few critical issues that are very important to me, and it would be great if you could help me out.
First, the keyboard backlight isn’t working.
Second, the laptop’s audio through wired headphones is unclear and doesn’t work properly.
Third, and honestly, this is very, very important to me: in most current Linux distributions, when I connect my iPhone, it shows both photos and apps that allow me to access my files. On Linux, I can use the ifuse
package and the usbmuxd
driver, but on FydeOS, it only shows photos.
Fourth, no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get the terminal to work, and it kept giving me errors. Is there a way to manually install it step by step?
And my final question, out of curiosity:
Is it possible to implement this excellent operating system based on Linux?
I mean, could it be the exact same OS with all its features, but with the ability to easily install programs through the terminal? like apt install …
From what I understand, this OS uses a process similar to VMs to run the Linux terminal.
Thank you for your kindness!
