Installation fails on new ASUS NUC 14 N250

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:
    The installation fails on my new N250 ASUS NUC 14 NUC14MNK-B2, it does not even boot, no splash screen, just 30secs black screen, then restart.

What I tried:

  • FydeOS 19 for Intel → 30 secs wait when booting from USB, reboot
  • FydeOS 19 for AMD → → 30 secs wait when booting from USB, reboot
  • Same FydeOS installation USB on other PC → works
  • Ubuntu on same NUC 14 → works
  • ChromeOS Flex on same NUC 14 → works
  • Secure Boot Off
  • Legacy Boot not supported by newer NUC’s

So it seems to me, there is a incompatibility which shouldn’t be there if chromeOS Flex works.

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor: N250
    • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card): No
    • RAM: 8GB
    • FydeOS Version: 19

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.
    • Log Details: No Logs, does not boot on installlation
