Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:
    I cannot set a custom resolution for my raspberry pi 5 with my 24 inch touchscreen.

I have tried the following in config.txt:

hdmi_force_hotplug=1 # Pretend HDMI is always attached
hdmi_group=2 # Use DMT group (monitor timings)
hdmi_mode=82             # 1920x1080, 60Hz (DMT)
hdmi_drive=2
hdmi_ignore_edid=0xa5000080

Also tried using dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d instead of dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d-pi5,cma-512 but then i do not get any screen on my monitor.

And when adding video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@60D to cmdline.txt, i do get a white screen on the monitor.
