Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description: I have an old laptop and an even older one, which is a spare laptop. On this spare laptop I have Windows 8.1 and I want to have FydeOS in the USB live version, i.e. only on a pendrive. During the installation I got to the point of logging in to the FydeOS account. Then the laptop thinks for a long time and then turns off. P.S. I am also considering installing FydeOS on my first computer, but then I would probably have to choose the Enterprise version (I have my own websites and earn money from advertising - admittedly as a hobby, but probably commercially). Currently on my first computer I have ChromeOS Flex.

E1 is too old.

I see

if it boots then you should still be able to use FydeOS, at least some of its features. Though random reboot like this indicates hints of hardware failure.

You may retry signing in with a local account to see if there is any joy

Thanks for your answer. I can’t create a local account. I tried twice. I get this error:

P.S. Should the password for the local account be the same as the FydeOS account?
P. S. 2 I managed to run FydeOS normally, i.e. through the FydeOS account.
