Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:

Trying to install OpenG Apps onto my computer, automatic install doesn’t work and manual install is running into issues. I’ve attempted to use the x86_64 11.0 Pico download as my base and it never made it past 20%. I downgraded to 9.0 and again it didn’t go past 20%. The logs all state that they failed in the same area. I’ll post the logs, any support would be appreciated.

In most cases, problems encountered when installing Open GApps are due to not reading the tutorial and installing the wrong version. You need to be clear whether the version you are currently using is Android 13, Android 11, or Android 9. If you don’t know, it’s recommended to fill in the necessary information according to the post template.

No Carrie it doesn’t work.
Besides there are no Open Gapps for Android 13, even trying to install those for Android 11 you get a certificate error.
FydeOS has had this problem for years now, is it possible that you can’t solve it?

Click the link I provided and you’ll see what to do with Android 13. I’m genuinely exhausted. Why don’t people read the tutorial before saying it doesn’t work?

Carrie, are you kidding us?
There is no package following the link listed in your documentation for Android 13, and your own documentation, in fact, talks about Android 9 & 11, because no 13 is present. But the 11 version issues a certificare error!
Why don’t you check instead of being rude to users?

Let’s say it doesn’t work because it doesn’t work. You’ve had this problem for two major releases and your respect for users is so low that even though it has been reported to you several times you pretend nothing is happening.

Carrie, with this message of yours you are making me regret being an early adopter of FydeOS, having written so many articles about it and having brought you so many users.

Go to hell Carrie!

Are you kidding me? No andoird 13?

Ever since we released Android 13, the section about Android 13 has been included in the tutorial. I don’t know why you haven’t seen it for such a long time.

I understand why you are exhausted. I saw you replied this guide thousands of times in community, TG and discord.
