SHA-256 Hash Discrepancy for FydeOS for PC

Subject: SHA-256 Hash Discrepancy for FydeOS for PC (apu) v20.0 Image

Dear FydeOS Team,

I am writing to you because I have detected a discrepancy while trying to verify the integrity of the FydeOS for PC (apu) version 20.0 image.

I have downloaded the file FydeOS_for_PC_apu_v20.0-io-stable.bin multiple times from different download mirrors (Official Download, Mirror 1 Google Drive, Mirror 2 iCloud) available on your website: fydeos.io/download/pc/apu/.

In all my downloads, I have calculated the SHA-256 hash of the file using standard and reliable tools (a file manager on Android and the sha256sum command in Linux). The hash I consistently obtain across all my downloads is:

966876af262388154a3e484ae0db6e2d66c119f4197f9ffe8359e4963c48e02

However, the SHA-256 hash that you publish on the same download page for version 20.0 is:

a66acb5cfa6480bf19bdf3f593adcf8ad0c1c14552d2b006747ab9d894bf1ab6

As you can see, these two hashes do not match. This discrepancy prevents me from confirming the integrity of the file and raises doubts about whether the download is complete or if there is an error in the published hash.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could clarify which is the correct SHA-256 hash for the FydeOS_for_PC_apu_v20.0-io-stable.bin image, or if there is any known issue with the download or the displayed hash.

Thank you very much for your attention and help.

Sincerely,

Juan
