So I own a fydetab duo and what to use it for school in Germany but now I ask me what the best note app is it were better if can also can use the app offline. I know that the fydeos has already a note app but this don’t work offline. And also I want to ask that app you would recommend for school or in general for the fydetab duo?
The FydeOS Notes App supports offline mode. In the top left of the app you should see your workspace name, and under that either “cloud” or “local”. If it’s local it means offline mode is active and changes you make will only be saved on your system. If it’s cloud then the changes you make sure synced to Fyde’s servers.

Like switching to local and cloud on demand setting up private instances and all that stuff. Including saving important work and having them ready on other devices you use. This is very beneficial if you’re a school student. Maybe take an hour of your time to read the AFFiNE documentation and setting up FydeOS AI, this will save you a lot of time later.
Also, think about which platform you want to use. FydeOS Notes is new and isn’t in the best shape, as far as I know, if you use FydeOS and nothing else. Your needs should be covered by our app. But if you need functionalities that aren’t provided by FydeOS Notes look at AFFiNE and the plans they offer. Also, their AI would be more suitable for you as it’s tailored for Notes and more.
Finally, I would like to tell you a very important reminder, be very careful with what you use, as switching to different products can become a hassle and you might give up note taking.
