I’m trying to install Kodi to my system, However it’s failing to run properly. Kodi loads but i cannot access using mouse or keyboard. I get a Wayland error at the terminal and I am wondering how I can bypass this.
VA error: wayland: did not get DRM device
libva info: VA-API version 1.17.0
libva error: vaGetDriverNameByIndex() failed with invalid VADisplay, driver_name = (null)
the Kodi installation was done using “sudp apt”, it is not a flatpak install
Also what app can I use for screen recording as OBS Studio doesn’t seem to work, I get a message that OBS is incompatible with this platform
has any one experience this or have a work around, any suggestion?
I’m building this machine to use a a media entertainment device to watch n listen Podcast, movies, audio, etc.
