How to troubleshoot activation of the linux subsystem?

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

I installed the latest FydeOS on a Lenovo Ideapad 1 with an AMD Ryzen 3-7320 and no discrete GPU.

I enabled developer mode and when I went to install the Linux subsystem FydeOS says it can’t be activated. So I booted into the BIOS and confirmed AMD-V is enabled. Then I worried that maybe the BIOS needed to be updated so I installed the latest and still can’t activate the Linux subsystem.

So my question is: how to troubleshoot something like this? Or maybe I don’t have enough memory to run it (8gb)? Any tips would be appreciated.

Note: If you’ve lost your FydeOS subscription, please refer to this FAQ for assistance.

The issue is likely still due to the virtualization settings in your BIOS.

There’s one setting - AMD-V - and it’s enabled, so I’m not sure how that could be?
