Description:
Hello folks, I wanted to get information on how “competitive games” on Android respond to Android subsystem for FydeOS
Currently I play Garena Free Fire Max, the only issue I’ve encountered is that I’m able to play every game mode except for the most competitive one where you’re ranked. It lets me play around 3 times I guess, and then later failed every time in matchmaking. Other game modes worked fine. My speculation
People have reported across multiple emulators like BlueStacks and Google Play Games Beta itself that they have this very issue.
I have also tried checking with certain identification apps. They fail. My question — What does FydeOS actually use under the hood? Is it modified by Fyde or is Google ARC++ the thing that powers this?
**Please let me know guys, if you are sure what FydeOS uses for Android is what’s used on every chromebook, I’m gonna go and put a support ticket to the game devs **
I think you did not understand.
I’m specifically talking if my game banned me from getting into the most competitive round. Because I was using FydeOS Android Subsystem, so I’m asking if there’s anything impactfully different between the Fyde and Chrome OS android subsystems.
I tried a Play Integrity API Checker and Fyde doesn’t qualify even one, When I tried on an actual android phone I had it qualified 2 out of 3. Concerning if games use the integrity API during matchmaking.
@Mayday
btw, I think I’ll read Garena’s T&C and see what I can do, I think emulation is allowed only from verified emulators like Google Play Games Beta on Windows 11, and Bluestacks and so on. Maybe they have Fyde in their “allowed list” but I’ll gather as much proof as possible and try and convince them, Maybe one of my teammates had some suspicious behaviour. the game’s system was tellin’ me something.
These games are designed to play on cell phones, if you play it on PCs using mouse and keyboard, you are actually cheating. So it’s reasonable you are not allowed to do so. You can use some game emulators on windows to cheat because these emulators know how to cheat.
Actually, I’m allowed to emulate the game, just that Fyde’s Subsystem looks off for the game.
The dev encourages emulator player competitions, but doesn’t like it when people cheat and use modded apks
