—Acer Aspire E11…N2840, 4gb ram, 32gb eMMC, Intel1014 video card. Age…aprox 13 years ( bought new in 2013 ). FydeOS version Intel legacy.

Hi, Install stalls at FyedOS logo, left for 15 minutes, no change. I am certain that I installed a version of FyedOS a couple of years ago and was very impressed because it picked up the camera. I would like to have this because Win10 finishes in a couple of months.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

V19 legacy should work. Try a better USB.

Hello my friend, how are you? I’M recommend fydeOS version Slim and view in bios the secure boot is disable with UEFI on.

I have been using computers for over 45 years and until two weeks ago never had any USB flash drive troubles, so one bad drive two weeks ago and another yesterday. New drive installed FydeOS perfectly although when I went to log in it refused my password, so reset using same password and it let me in. I don’t like the fact that you have to log in when you’re just trying it out from a flash drive.
I was impressed that my camera was working, this is the only Linux distro that has done this, and I have tried many variations.
