FydeOS for you 20 Surface Pro 5 Camera

I just installed Version 20 on my Surface pro 5. I noticed that the front and rear cameras are working in the Camera app. I can’t however get the front facing camera working in any other apps. I am able to use the rear camera in the Google Meet web app but the front camera doesn’t work. Was there work done in Version 20 to get the cameras working in Surface devices? I know support for the cameras has always been difficult I was just wondering. This is definitely a nice step forward.

It’s in the experimental support because surface-linux kernel is in this stage.

Ok I have been tinkering with it some more and for anyone else that would like to know. It looks like the Camera names are reversed. The “Back” camera is the one facing you I would normally call that the front facing camera and the one labeled “front” is the one on the back of the machine. I also noticed the Microsoft Teams web app works with the camera if you turn off all adjustments in the site. I also tried Jit.si meet and Google Meet it works there too. The only place I can’t get the camera to work is Zoom. This is using the Zoom PWA. None of the android Apps I have used will work with the camera.
