Hi everyone,
I’m trying to install FydeOS 19 on my Dell Inspiron 3647 desktop with the following specs:
- CPU: Intel Pentium G3240 (with integrated graphics)
- RAM: 6GB
- Previous Setup: Legacy BIOS with MBR partition scheme
What I’ve Done So Far:
- I reinstalled Windows, converted the disk to GPT, and switched the firmware mode to UEFI.
- I downloaded FydeOS 19 (Legacy version) from the official site.
- Extracted the
.xz
file and created a bootable USB using Rufus:
- File system: Large FAT32
- Partition scheme: GPT
- BIOS settings:
- UEFI mode enabled
- Secure Boot disabled
- SATA Mode: AHCI
The Problem:
- When I boot from the USB in UEFI mode, I just get a black screen, and then the system restarts in a loop.
