Thunderbird windows open minimized and Inbox scrolling acts weird

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description: I installed Thunderbird for my email and that seemed to work, showing up on the system tray, etc. However, when I scoll down my inbox list in classic view, then scroll back to the top, the scroll stops a few lines too low and I have to drag the right scroll bar up to get it to the top again. Also, when I reply (or forward or any action that opens up a sub-window) that window opens with nothing but the windows control box that normally shows up in the upper right corner of a window (minimize, maximize/reset, X close). Is this normal, or is there a linux subsystem setting I should make?
