1. Hardware Experience
1.1 Very compact board with built-in eMMC ROM.
Interfaces are quite versatile, supporting M.2 expansion for SSD.
It also has a SIM card slot (requires an additional communication module).
1.2 However, it only has one USB-A port, so an external HUB is required.
1.3 The lack of a power button can be inconvenient.
1.4 No built-in power adapter; you need to prepare a 12V / 2A (or higher) Type-C charger separately.
2. System Experience (based on FydeOS_for_SBC_XpressReal_v20.0-SP1)
2.1 You can log in with a Google account to sync browser bookmarks and extensions, which is very convenient.
2.2 As a browser-centric system, it only scores 1.6 on Speedometer.
(Speedometer is a benchmark designed for browser performance. For smooth browsing, at least a score of 5 is needed.)
2.3 Although the official claim is support for multiple 4K video formats, I only get smooth playback on YouTube 1080p.
2K and 4K videos stutter slightly (likely due to lack of hardware decoding), and HDR cannot be enabled.
Also, switching to full screen in YouTube causes about 3 seconds of lag.
2.4 Even with DRM installed, Spotify cannot be played via web.
I haven’t tested Netflix or Disney+ yet, but I assume they face the same issue.
2.5 Unable to successfully install the Android system — it stays stuck at the loading screen.
2.6 Able to install the Linux subsystem, with Python pre-installed.
2.7 Geekbench 6 result shows performance is similar to — or even slightly worse than — a Raspberry Pi 4B.
