Auto theme (dark/light) does not follow local time

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:
    • At local time 00:38 local time (GMT-7), “Auto” theme sets the system to light mode, but dark mode is expected.
    • In the morning (at around 08:00 local time), “Auto” theme sets the system to dark mode, but light mode is expected.
    • As a result, I suspect auto theme is following some other time zone’s time (UTC?) rather than local time.

:computer:System & Device Information

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor: i7-7Y75 (Huawei Matebook E 2018)
    • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card): HD 615, integrated
    • RAM: 8 GB
    • FydeOS Version: V20.0-SP1

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.
    • Log Details: (not applicable it seems)
