Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description: I installed 1password extension on Chromium.
  • I get this popup from 1password: You’ll need to update your browser before October 14, 2025 to keep using 1Password.
  • Minimum version is 128.
    The hardware is a iMac mini A1347 2012 Model MD387LL/A
    I had ChromeOS Flex on this hardware and Chrome was at a higher version.
    Will Intel Legacy be updated past V19.0 before 10/14/2025?

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor: Intel Core 15 3rd Gen 2.5 Ghz 2012
    • Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536MB
    • RAM: 16GB
    • FydeOS Version: FydeOS 19.0

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.

This version is EOL. Use slim version.

FydeOS website says Intel Legacy for 3rd - 5th Gen. iMac Mini (2012) is 3rd Gen. That’s why I downloaded Legacy. I downloaded Intel Slim and it installed and works. Chromium is at 132. No problems with 1password now. Thanks.
Should I have tried Intel Modern 1st?
