Can't run Android Subsystem

Even though my processor supports the AVX and SSE4.2 instruction sets, I couldn’t get the Android Subsystem to work in FydeOS.
Every time I clicked the Android icon, a spinning icon appeared, and I never got past that screen, and I couldn’t even install it.

I tried everything, even changing the BIOS settings, but it still didn’t work.

My system: i5-3570, RX 550 4GB, 8GB DDR3 RAM

Your device is a bit special, which has an older CPU paired with a relatively newer AMD GPU. Which variant are you trying to use? Since your GPU is enabled, you might want to try the AMD Graphics variant first. If that doesn’t work, try disabling your discrete GPU and then use either the Intel Legacy or Intel Slim variant.

I tried FydeOS 20 and 21, and neither worked, as I had already installed it from the “AMD Graphics” folder.

I haven’t tried disabling my external GPU, but the GPU in my processor is truly insufficient, meaning I couldn’t run my Android apps properly even if I wanted to.

I don’t think the problem is GPU-related.

It’s very likely related to the GPU, as the Android subsystem in FydeOS has certain GPU requirements. For more information, please refer to the following document.

Thanks man

My GPU: Intel Xeon E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller @ 1.15 GHz [Integrated]

Which version should I choose?

This CPU is quite old, so you can only try using the v19 legacy version.

I tried it, it freezes immediately after booting from USB.
