(ERROR HELP) Booting problem with FydeOS v20 and above

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:
    Fydeos loaded on the USB (using both rufus and balena etcher and ChromeOS media writer) refuses to boot at all.

When I select FydeOS to boot, it doesn’t even show the logo – it just goes straight into Windows.

I have searched the web and have secure boot disabled and UEFI boot enabled.

This issue is not prevalent on FydeOS v19 and lower, but affected by v20 or higher.

:computer:System & Device Information

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor:Intel Core i7-1165g7
    • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card): Integrated Intel iRIS Xe Graphics
    • RAM: 16gb
    • FydeOS Version:v20 or higher is affected

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.
    • Log Details:
      None

Yes, I have tried on an SD card and 2 different 16gb USB drives
