If have a slim PC with AMD CPU and AMD Radeon GPU. I used the Intel and AMD variant.
As other users here I found that the FydeOD works fine, including the Linux subsystem. But not the Android. I did a lot of investigation, also with the help of hwtuner.
The situation is: the basic system works with the Radeon driver. AMDGPU is also loaded. But this does not work/boot with my system.
So Chromium part uses Radeon and thats fine. Android uses Amdgpu and fails. Is there any chance of a version that either supports Radeon driver or fixes the AMD driver to work with my GPU? Or can I tune the driver in hwtuner, I mean what may be the problem?
Sorry, but I checked this, the CPU supports SSE4.2. I think I have the same issue with the spinning red wheel, like the other guy. I use the newest version FydeOS version 2.0.
By the way, with the help of cik_support parameter I could force my system to use amdgpu.
The Chromium works fine, including Linux, but Android still spinns. Think that Linux also needs some kind of virtualisation. And I can start e.g. a gedit in Linux subsystem.
I saw this from community feedback —
for AMD processors, enabling the Android Subsystem requires at least a Ryzen-series CPU.
Those earlier than Ryzen, even if they support SSE4.2, still cannot enable it.
