Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:
I have already sent a message to support via the fydeOS comment section in the About FydeOS installation itself. I am reposting here because I would very much like to set up FydeOS tonight and this weekend while I have time. But I don’t want to spend the time if I stuck with the restriction I am detailing.

My name is Andrew Adams. I have a MS Surface Pro 7 and find that windows 11 is absolutely not a tablet based option.

So, a year ago, I tried FydeOS 19. It didn’t really work for me given it is basically chrome os with some touch stuff bolted on to it. I uninstalled it at the time.

Now, a year later, you have released FydeOS 21. I had heard there had been considerable changes that made it more of a tablet option.

BTW, I am obviously using Fyde OS for You. the one tailored for my Surface Pro.

Here’s the problem. I’d like to evaluate it, but you have my Google address flagged as having used my demo period. And it signs me out every 10 minutes. There is no way I can adequately evaluate this new version with that limitation.

Could you PLEASE reset the trial period on that address? It needs to be that address because I have over 20 years of purchases from the Google play store I want to leverage.

Now, the other issue is. . . .I am trying to migrate away from Google and they are making it difficult for me to move my data off Google Drive. Until I DO? They have blocked my Gmail address. I don’t get email there now.

Could you PLEASE help me out here? I want to get past my dependency on Google for obvious reasons. in fact, I am building out my own cloud services at home.

Also, if there is a way to do an install on FydeOS that allows me to get the Google apps I have paid for but really is set up for FOSS or the like, I would be very very receptive.

The trail is based on your device id not your account. Every device has three month trail, if you can renew it by requesting, why should I subscribe it? If you want to use it, you should pay like me.
