The FydeOS Diagnostics app is blank on my HP x360 310 G2 PC due to a likely software rendering bug that prevents the information from displaying correctly, even though the system is gathering the data

Hello,

The built-in Diagnostics app in FydeOS is completely blank when opened on my specific hardware model. I have tried restarting the app and the device without success. The chrome://system page confirms the hardware information is being read correctly by the OS internally, so it appears to be a rendering bug within the app’s UI.

Hardware Information:

  • Model: HP x360 310 G2 PC
  • HWID: HP x360 310 G2 PC

FydeOS Version Details:

OS Description: 16295.75.21.4 (Release Build v21.0) stable-channel amd64-fydeos_slim-io

Chrome Version: 138.0.7204.255 (Developer Build)

Thank you for your help!

If the standard setting doesn’t work, you can force the system to use software rendering for its interface:

  • In the Chromium address bar, type chrome://flags and press Enter.
  • Search for “Override software rendering list”.
  • Set this flag to Enabled. This forces the system to ignore the GPU for certain rendering tasks, which often fixes blank app windows on older Intel Celeron chips.
  • Search for “Hardware-accelerated video decode” and “Hardware-accelerated video encode” and set both to Disabled if you still see glitches.
  • Restart your device.
