Any help to troubleshoot laptop that reboots / boot loops when power plugged into USB-C port?

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:
    Laptop runs FydeOS 22 great when running off battery. Could not get install screen or system to run when powered via USB-C. Running i5-1135g7 tiger lake processor.
    Laptop is Portege x30w-j

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor: i5-1135g7
    • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card): N/A
    • RAM: 8GB
    • FydeOS Version: modern V22.0-SP1

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.
    • Log Details:
      No logs from previous boot
