Have you searched the community for related issues?

  • Similar issues found. The latest, Nov 2024 states that the Fyde Store should install during installation – this did not happen. It also states that a full install might be needed and this is what I have done, but no store, and if I go to https://store.fydeos.io/?init=extensions ALL apps are labeled “Unsupported OS”.

Please describe the problem you’ve encountered in detail:

  • Description:
  • Fresh install of FydeOS v23 from ISO ‘burned’ to USB with local login. I was using this system for hours this morning installing Linux & a few Android apps, but most are not able to be installed even through the Aurora Store but all of the apps I use from F-droid were able to install.
  • I have read that the Fyde Store should install during installation – this did not happen. I also read that a full install might be needed and this is what I have done, but no store, and if I go to https://store.fydeos.io/?init=extensions in Browser ALL apps are labeled “Unsupported OS”.

Try powerwash. The store should appear during the first login.

That is not a good solution after all the work I put in to configure it as it is.

There has to be a command line option…

You could create a new account.

And wipe out a full blown install with all needed apps (on a slow connection)? Not a viable solution. Is there a command line script to run to get that installed?
