Android-Subsystem doea not open since successfull installation of GAPPS

  • Description:
    Hello,
    i have installed FydeOS on my Surface Go 2 ( i thought that a dual installation next Win11 would be possible, but thats another story).

I installed GAPPS manually (x86_64 for Android 9) after several attempts of trial and error.

But when i try to oen the Android-Subsystem-App after reboot, its not working. Its just showing me a loading sign and it never opens.

I tried several times to reinstall GAPPS, Reboot etc. but nothing works.
What can I do?

  • Hardware & System Configuration:

    • Processor:
    • Graphics Card(Please specify if there’s a discrete graphics card):
    • RAM:
      → Surface Go 2 with the Pentium Gold CPU
    • FydeOS Version: newest

  • Relevant System Logs:

    • Open the Chromium browser and enter /var/log/messages to retrieve logs.
    • Log Details: no log details saved after successfull installation

how do you install it manually? for try that on my pc

Powerwash the system and try again. First, make sure the Android subsystem works before you install Open Gapps.
